Geisha with a Fan

Geisha with a Fan is an abstract portrait that emerges from a mosaic of interwoven shapes, colors, and translucent layers. Fragments of crimson, gold, blue, violet, and ivory coalesce into the graceful silhouette of a geisha, while delicate white lines suggest the folds of a kimono and the structure of an opened fan. Set against a deep violet background, the figure appears both present and elusive, as if suspended between memory and movement. The painting explores the tension between tradition and abstraction, inviting the viewer to discover the figure gradually within a vibrant tapestry of color and form.

The painting is presented in a sleek black floater frame, giving the artwork a contemporary, gallery-style appearance. The frame's understated presence complements the modern abstract style without competing with it.
